What We’re About
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the perfect man who gave his life on the cross to pay for our sins and allow us the opportunity to enjoy eternal salvation. His sacrifice allowed for us to be forgiven and enjoy the abundant and eternal life in heaven that he offers.
We are passionate about knowing Jesus and understanding His message through what his written the Bible. Our lives will be enriched by understanding His Word and following his lessons and his lead in our daily lives.
Our desire is to help others develop a life changing relationship with Jesus and to help each other through the challenges that this world puts in front of us.
What To Expect
From the moment you walk into our church you will feel welcomed as a member of our church family. We are here to support each other through life’s challenges and grow together in our relationship with our savior Jesus Christ.
You will not be pressured in any way. Our desire is to share the Gospel and our understanding of Gods will with members of our community to help enrich each others lives.
You will discover a loving environment for your whole family regardless of what stage you are in your life.
Events Calendar
Our history is marked by numerous church activities and community events including Easter and Christmas services, vacation bible schools and hosting the monthly food bank for the community.
Youth Ministry
Our goal is to spread the Word of God among teens in middle school to high school. We gather one hour before church each Sunday & at 6:30 PM every Wednesday.
Church History
The Church is one of the oldest to be established inside the city. For more than a century, First Baptist Church of Elkhart has been a beacon of light in the community.
